PROJECT MANAGER
Synopsis: Works
in conjunction with each Director to generate and produce projects. Possesses
advanced design capabilities, management skills and technical proficiency
with ability to motivate, organize and monitor project teams.
Leadership
- Performs with complete
authority and responsibility with respect to managerial decisions for all
phases of the project, including programming, design, construction documents,
and construction administration.
- Determines method of
design implementation, including design team assignments.
- Provides creative design
leadership for a variety of project types.
- Establishes project
goals and objectives with team members.
- Monitors and is responsible
for several projects.
- Responsible for advancing
own knowledge base and sharing information with team
- Participates in programming
and design charettes.
- Responsible for the
success and failure of projects, viewed by outcomes.
- Establishes project
work plan for each project and reviews with team: In-house budgets, Project
team assignments, Schedules - project and activity.
- Identifies and manages
client expectations.
Finance
- Monitors project hours
vs contract amount, establishes budgeted hours based on schedule
- Assumes responsibility
for keeping projects within budget.
Marketing
- Participates in Request
for Proposal preparation.
- Participates in interviews.
- Participates in new
client development with marketing team.
- Primary ongoing client
liaison. Maintains existing clients.
Operations
- Ascertains contract
obligations and assists in contract preparation.
- Oversees and is responsible
for adherence to in-house production scheduling, budgeting, cost control.
- Attends project team
meetings when appropriate.
- Documents project decisions.
- Reviews consultants'
performance with Project Architect and conducts post-project performance
reviews.
- Monitors and is responsible
for the adherence to project construction cost estimate.
- Prepares overall project
schedule
- Responsible for completion
of the "Project Management Checklist".
- Works with Operations
on scheduling, staffing needs or concerns.
PROJECT ARCHITECT
Synopsis: Provides strong team leadership with ability to meet constraints
of time and cost. Possesses strong design and technical competence, with good
organizational and communication skills. Ability to work directly with clients
and consultants. Responsible for the professional growth of team members.
Leadership
- Provides creative design
leadership for a variety of projects.
- Provides continued
daily implementation of program, owner requirements, and design decisions
into all documentation aspects of the project.
- Coordinates and oversees
project team.
- Coordinates with all
consultants; takes lead on evaluating consultant performance, advises Project
Manager if unable to consistently attain satisfactory results, and establishes
submittal deadlines for all consultants.
- Acquires and maintains
professional registration
- Responsible for advancing
own knowledge base and sharing information with team
- Leads and participates
in client programming sessions and design charettes.
- May serve as Project
Manager on specific projects.
Finance
- Assumes responsibility
for meeting project time allocations per project budget
Marketing
- Maintains client relationships

Operations
- Participates through
assignment in the completion of the Project Architect Checklist.
- Establishes periodic
team meetings, frequency depending on the size and type project, in-house
and meetings including consultants, owner's representative (when appropriate),
and prepares as required and distributes conference memos.
- Completes and is responsible
for code research and review with governmental agencies. (Consults with
in-house code resource person when necessary). Makes application for and
obtains regulatory approvals, permits.
- Responsible for generating
necessary graphic communications.
- Responsible for the
content of deliverable documents.
- Coordinates and works
with Technical Information Coordinator.
- Coordinates and works
with CA during reviews and construction phase.
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Synopsis: Team player, with strong knowledge base in interior design, furnishings
and industry standards. Capable of executing documents in a variety of formats
for particular project needs. Capable of working on several projects simultaneously.
Leadership
- Responsible for advancing

well as finishes for FF & E projects (and coordinates with Project Architects
when applicable) as per specifications.
- Updates and maintains
interiors library.
- Coordinates and prepares
finish boards for Owner's review/approval.
- Coordinates interior
design services on projects.
- Provides space-planning
services in conjunction with specific projects.
- Prepares color schedules
and sample boards.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT
Synopsis: Manages all aspects of marketing, sales and public relations. Implements
a plan to achieve goals established by team management with complete authority
and support, including selection of potential market areas, and marketing
team and activities.
Marketing & Sales
- Develops new client/project
leads and coordinates those with Partners/Directors.
- Develops and oversees
marketing approach and activities.
- Establishes marketing
budget.
- Prepares marketing
plan.
- Directs activities
of marketing coordinators.
- Participates in the
hiring and firing of marketing personnel.
Public Relations
- Develops, coordinates
and oversees continuity of firm involvement in various industry, organizational

MARKETING COORDINATOR
Synopsis: Possesses
strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for creative graphic
layout and design. Works as a team player with various members of the business
development group. Able to meet deadlines, and balance multiple activities.

major collateral/graphic initiatives, maintains current info on cost of

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
COORDINATOR
Synopsis: Proactive, acts as a technical information connector. Technically
proficient, with a focus on materials and methods. Possesses excellent communication,
organization, language and analytical skills.

at project completion. Coordinates archiving of electronic files with DIS.
